Privacy policy

flpd is built around one simple idea: your selling data is yours. We collect the minimum we need to run the service, and we never sell your data to anyone.

What we collect

• Firebase Auth identity (email, display name)
• Scan images you upload — stored privately for 7 days, then auto-deleted
• Scan results (titles, prices, Flip Score) — kept until you delete them
• Platform connection session cookies (Poshmark, Depop, etc.) — encrypted at rest, removed when you disconnect
• Payment method via Stripe — flpd never sees your card number

Cross-user caches

To keep costs low, we cache the text identification of items (e.g. “Nike Dunk Low Panda”) so that when two users scan the same item, we don't re-run an expensive AI analysis. The cache key is a perceptual hash of the image — a one-way fingerprint that cannot be reversed into the original image. Your images are never shared with other users.

Third parties

We send scan images to Anthropic (Claude API) for identification, search queries to eBay for market data, and payment info to Stripe. We do not send your platform credentials, inventory, or messages to any third party other than the platform you authorized.
